Hello all. I am a new guy to the forum. Been around electronics for quite some time but new to the prop.

I have a project I've been working on for quite a while that I originally built around a STM32. I am debating moving to the prop and would like some advice, pros and cons or straight out yah do it with the prop or not.

What I need to do is take 15 analog sensor inputs. Drive 18 outputs plus a touchscreen and lcd.

First thing I read the thread about intercommunication between props, so to handle the I/O's I need I will probablly run a master slave setup. The slave will carry the base programming and the master will run the lcd and touchscreen and send live time adjustments to the slave. I plan on using 2 propsticks dip'd to my motherboard. I'm looking to run a 8 inch touchscreen and lcd.

So what do you think? Is this feasible? Where should I start? I want to jump right in.

Can I connect the USB from one and connect it directly to the other?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

I would take the 15 analog inputs and run it through 2 a2d 8 channel ics = 3 to4 i/o lines on the propeller. The outputs could be the same 3 to 4 more i/o lines on the propeller. Then the LCD and touch screen a few more i/o lines. You could do this with one propeller in my opinion especially if you use th i2c chips out there.
