Using SIN and SOUT

I need help to program my BS2 with faster communication rate. I research about doing this in the manual www.parallax.com/dl/docs/prod/stamps/web-BSM-v2.2.pdf (http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/prod/stamps/web-BSM-v2.2.pdf) found info in pages 175, 399 and 420. But is still not clear for me.

I would like to know how to increase the baud to 19200 or 38400, using the already installed rs232 9pin socket?

You can't do it. The BS2 can not receive reliably faster than about 4800 Baud. It can't receive reliably at 9600 Baud. It can transmit at 9600 Baud and maybe at 19200 Baud, but not faster. Pages 418/419 in the BASIC Stamp Syntax and Reference Manual show how to compute the Baud mode value for arbitrary Bauds, but that doesn't change the capabilities of the Stamp.
