Can i use a bs2p to be the master on an SPI interface.

if so is there an example out there?

i would like to interface to either an ISD1700 or ISD15100 series chipcorders using SPI

Yes. Look at the chapters on the SHIFTIN and SHIFTOUT statements in the on-line help or the BASIC Stamp Syntax and Reference Manual. There are all sorts of examples of the use of any Stamp as an SPI master using these and HIGH / LOW to control the chip select line.

There are other examples in the StampWorks Manual and a number of Nuts and Volts Columns, all on Parallax's website. Start with the Resources tab on the main Parallax webpage.
