Is there a simple code routine to test to see if my Propeller Pro-to and USB2SE

Do I have to buy a new one that is VerC

I can NOT get any of the Demo to work with this VerA

I can get it to loop back by putting a 220 Ohm resister on TX to RX and it will work that way but not on the Propeller Pro-to Board
