I have been playing with the my new Prop Scope and I seem to be having some problems with it.
I am still playing with the Oscilloscopes and looking at some servo signals being generated using a Propeller USB Protoboard and the Servo32v5 object. I'm not trying to debug anything, it just happened to be available on the Robot sitting on my desk at the time. It seemed simple and I know what to expect as I have viewed this signal using the Parallax USB Scope.
What is happening is that everything seems to work fine for about the first 10 seconds or so before the displayed signal freezes. I have noticed that clicking on the left portion of the screen cycles through the triggers and doing do does start the signal displaying again for 10 or so seconds. Before that I was clicking the RUN button to get it going again.
I have tried the latest firmware 1.0.2, changed USB cables, a different computer, different signals and even read the Help PDF file on Hanno's site. I'm out of ideas. Is there a test that I can run to determine if I have a bad unit?
Also, just an annoyance, how come when I have a channel turned off measurements (garbage data I guess) are still being still being displayed. If it's turned off, I think that nothing or zeros should be displayed.
Thanks
