Melexis 90217 Hall-Effect and Basic Stamp

Hi,

Only to know about the
maximum distance between this sensor and the Basic Stamp.

I understand that voltage drops with distance. For this reason
cables must not be too long.

How do you plan to connect the ses=nsor to the stamp and what code will you be using to read it? Also what speed will you be changing state.

I am not an expert , but I planed to connect the sensor to the stamp just
like the pdf page 5 .

There is a kind of connection for severe environment componets ( like the page 5 ) of this pdf :

The speed is less than 1500 rpm.

But I don't know what kind of code , I am trying to use pulsin.

·Heres a simple test setup for the MXL90217. It could be useful for target distance from hall sensor test.

Use a nonmagnetic iron based target.
