Thanks Bill. When I get a chance I will write it in pasm as I use this on my TriBladeProp pcb.

Hey, give me a chance, too! I already did an improvement on the write method and converted it to assembler yesterday!

Tested? Not yet. I have received my W25X16 a few days ago and plugged it to my demo board on Wednesday. I'm just writing a sound recorder as a test application. Will be finished on Monday or Tuesday.

Uff... Now that I have posted this I have some pressure to find time for this task to hold the deadline...

virtuPIC: Go for it ! I really have enough on my plate anyway.

Please keep in mind I share the DO and DI pins with other devices (and CLK), because I found a bug in the SD driver that did not force the SD card to tristate the DO pin.
