·· Does anyone know of a chip that will play mp3 or an mp3 player we can hack to use the prop to play sounds.
I am looking for a mp3 player hack that I can use the prop to say "Play song 25"· from the sd card or input keystrokes like a Dos batch file and play the sound from the mp3.
Thanx

Mosquito,
One posibility is the vmusic2, I have used this with a BS2.· I don't see any reason it wouldn't work with a prop.· Here is a link to the product at Mouser.

I posted a Propeller project using the VMusic2 some time ago in Completed Projects:

If you just want to play sounds, you can just use the wav players I posted a little while ago to play sounds with just the Prop and a few passives... Uncompressed wav files are some 10x bigger than MP3, but if that's not an issue, I'd go that way!
