Hello,
I want to use the Prop to send serial data to a +5V Tranciever. I realize that I need to use a Level Shifter for translate the Logic levels from 3.3 to 5V and vise versa. Can anyone recommend the best chip for this task or the easiest way to implement this level change.

Take a look at the first sticky, there is an extensive thread discussing this issue in there.

Simplest is a pullup resistor for 3.3V - 5V and a series resistor for 5V - 3.3V, if you don't need a lot of speed and can live with the power consumption.
